Lily Keller don't you wish you were a fly on the wall? "You know, you are allowed to decorateyour dorms so long as it isn't permanent. Posters, paint, anything really, just don't break the walls. The staff gets really worked up about stuff like that. Maybe I'll show you me dorm, for an example." Lily took another slice of peach from the basket. Goodness knows I've done enough renovation to my dorms, though the staff doesn't really care what I do. Being the Founder's granddaughter has its perks.
"We'll be taking the secret passagesway, so if y'all might want a flashlight. I have a small stash of candles, and I can shift into a nocturnal animal, but you'll be wantin' light. It gets pretty dark in the passageways, but they're really handy for getting around the school when you don't want to be seen. I'll be showing you the main 'secret' passageways that everyones knows about. It's common knowledge that it exists. Of course, there's others that only a few people know about, but I'll let you two discover those on your own. I'll show you some secret rooms as well. Also, I'll take you on the trails of this island. Hope you know how to ride a horse."
[[I'll start that thread, if you want.]]

"Right..." Robin mutterd, thinking hard about whether she had remembered to pack a flashlight or not. S.he came to the conclusion, 'or not.' "I don't have a flashlight, but I'll do fine in the dark-- as long as I keep my eyes closed."
She quickly polished off the rest of her apple, and tossed the core into a convinetly near-by trashcan. Robin stood, and quickly leapt into the new room. Searching the closet with a quick flip of her hand, she retrieved a long red satin scarf. Wrapping it around her arm, like a vine around a tree, she returned to the couch, "And as for horse backfiring, I took a few lessons when I was younger... Maybe nine. I still remember a few things."
(Go ahead and start. Dawnie's sure to turn up sooner or later.)

(I'm here, I'm here. So impatient.) **THE WORLD KEEPS TURNING**
Secret passageways… Interesting… she thinks, polishing off her apple slice and draining the bottle on one long gulp, and grabs a small flashlight from a side-pocket of her bag. She had a feeling it might come in handy. “Right. I’m ready.” Feeling rejuvenated, mostly at the thought of exploring, she stands and watches the others expectantly.
When she was younger, she took riding lessons, at her mother’s insistence, but she’s not sure she remembers how to now. The basics, sure, but maybe not the harder stuff. After a year of her brain being sliced to bits, she’s not sure if she remembers much of anything.

(man, I feel like I'm the only one without a special post signature. -___- I'll have to find myself one.)
"Right," she stood up, dusting off her long jeans for no particular reason. Robin swung her backpack off the floor, a pure black little thing that she almost always took with her when leaving the house-- or now in this case, the dorm, and onto her back. Repositioning her scarf to wrap more comfortably around her arm, the girl nodded at Lily. "Lead the way."

Lily Keller don't you wish you were a fly on the wall ["Now we'll just have to stop in my room for a second, I have to grab my riding boots and helmet. It's up a short flight of stairs, but I'm sure you'll manage. This way." Lily beckoned with a finger. She walked swiftly up a short set of stairs, only about 8 or so. Turning into room 200, shee walked to her dorm. It was one of the dorms with a great view, as all upperclassmen got. Digging through her closet, she pulled out her boots and helmet. Swapping her wedges for boots, she sighed. It felt good to be back into her boots.
Helmet swinging from her hand, Lily walked through the door, and out into the hallway. "Quickly now ladies. don't want to keep the horses waiting." Lily forced herself to walk, even though she felt like running to the stables and cuddling with Romani, her big lovable oaf.
[[just post in the other thread now.]]
