The slouched figure sitting with his face obscured by his fingers, his elbows atop the table, and no books in sight, was a forlorn sight to observe. But Kinkade Malixi was not that figure, though he occupied a space no more than five feet away. It was true that he had plenty to be upset about, all things considered. At least he wasn't sore! As this fact occured to him he reached out onto the empty table to grab his bottle of Sprite. It was nearly halfway empty, but that didn't matter as he took a few more swallows of it's limited contents.

There were real, list-able reasons that he was happy right now. The primary reasons were that there was a lemon-lime taste in his mouth, no one was specifically upset with him for anything he could help at this point, and best of all, Shiloh was not here and the library would be the exact last place he'd look. All in all, that gave him reason to be specifically cheerful. If that wasn't enough, it was eleven thirty. In thirty minutes, he'd be in the cafeteria. What more could he ask for? Kinkade grinned to himself as he leaned back, his mind drifting off into a rather elaborate daydream involving no fewer than three feats physics would deem impossible, all accomplished by himself.
